Brahman cross heifers 240c at Eidsvold
TopX North Burnett held their fortnightly prime and store sale at Eidsvold on January 16. There was a yarding of 516 head of cattle, selling to a tougher market, consistent with current trends. The yarding consisted of good quality cows and calves, with good lines of weaner steers and heifers.
Steers 200-300kg sold to 278c/kg, steers 300-400kg sold to 262c, heifers 300-400kg sold to 240c and cows and calves sold to $1150/unit.
Cracow Santa Gertrudis cross steers sold for 278c at 258kg returning $720/head.
Eidsvold Brahman cross heifers sold for 240c at 362kg returning $869.
Mundubbera Brahman cross cows and calves sold for $1150/unit.
