Where did you learn about wool? From your parents, grandparents, or maybe not even at all? When fast fashion came around in the late twentieth century, people forgot about wool and the knowledge of its benefits.

So, to re-educate kids about wool, Australian Wool Innovation has developed the Learn About Wool program.

Developed in conjunction with leading primary and secondary teachers, the free kits include multimedia presentations, fabric and fibre samples, factsheets and posters. Fun and engaging, the lesson plans are tailored for students from kindergarten right through to year 10.

Anyone, from teachers, students and the general public can download the resources online at www.learnaboutwool.com or listen to episode 70 of The Yarn podcast to find out more.
