Steers and heifers sold to a strong market at Eidsvold on Wednesday.

TopX North Burnett held their fortnightly prime and store sale at Eidsvold on Wednesday. There was a smaller yarding of 167 head of cattle, with steers and heifers selling to a strong market.  The yarding consisted mainly of young good quality weaners.

Steers 200-300kg sold to 306c/kg, heifers 200-300kg sold to 253c, cows over 400 - 520kg sold to 227c and bulls 450-600kg sold to 236.

HIGHLIGHTS:       

TV & LB Haupt sold Charbray cross steers for 306c at 217kg returning $666/head. They also sold Charbray cross heifers for 253c at 219kg returning $555 and cows for 227c at 490kg returning $1113.

Schuh Family Trust sold a Charbray cross bull for 236c at 830kg returning $1960/head.
