BEES that were being used to pollinate crops on a property in the Innisfail region have been stolen and police are working to track down the culprits.
Three bee hives that were placed on a property at Eubenangee Road, Garradunga, were taken some time between 6.30am on Sunday, September 30, and 5.45pm last Saturday, when the property owner noticed them missing.
The three plastic hives had been placed in the area as a means to pollinate crops.
Police are appealing for information to track down the culprits.
Meanwhile, three young weaner bulls that were stolen from a property near Rockhampton last month remain missing.
The three young gray Brahman bulls were taken from a paddock near Gracemere between September 26 and 30, just ahead of the Brahman Week bull sale.
The bulls are branded on the near side rear leg and have stud numbers on the near side rump.
Police said the weaners were very well bred and exceptionally quiet and easy to handle.
