Burnett Livestock & Realty’s meatworks and store sale on Monday saw a yarding of 919 head. The meatworks market was affected by quality and volume, easing on last sale. Feeder steer prices lifted reflecting the good quality volume lines offered and weaner cattle were harder to shift while buyers wait for more rain and look for more consistent lines of weaners. Plainer type store cattle contributed to the softening market averages.
