HUNDREDS of punters from across the North attended the annual Ewan Races, held on September 28 and 29.
The beer and champagne was flowing as attendees geared up for a packed weekend of traditional country racing.
Numerous social events were held throughout the weekend, with Fashions on the Field hotly contested.
Many people made the most of the long weekend and set up camp at the site.
The racing was hotly contested this year, with the winner of race five automatically qualifying for the inaugural Country Cups Challenge.
The Queensland Racing initiative will see 16 winners of Country Cups held throughout rural Queensland from September to November go head to head at Doomben on December 1.
At Ewan, Misc, the winner of race five was the success story. Misc was trained by Alby Molino and ridden by Bonnie Thompson.
