CQLX Agents had a reduced yarding of 1836 head at Gracemere on Friday, consisting of 824 steers and bullocks, 663 heifers, 194 cows, 25 cows and calves and 130 bulls and mickeys.
In keeping with the dry seasonal conditions it was a mixed quality yarding which saw cattle from Theodore to Bloomsbury and local areas in between. The competition from regular buyers along with restockers saw prices hold firm to dearer on last week’s market.
