Droughtmaster heifers $460 at Miriam Vale
There was a yarding of 280 head at Miriam Vale monthly sale on Tuesday. Buyers came from Gin Gin, Monto with strong local support. The yarding consisted mainly of No 8 steers and heifers.
Wayne and Sue Heenan, Monto sold Droughtmaster cross steers from $680 to $800.
Balwyn Bay Pty Ltd, Bororen sold quality Brangus steers No 8s for $700. Bigger weaner steers sold from $600 to $700, while smaller types sold from $400 to $600.
Bruce Cislowski, Lowmead sold a pen of Droughtmaster heifers No 8s for $460. Most bigger weaner heifers sold from $350 to $460 and smaller types sold from $250 to $350.
Cows and calves sold to $700, while store cows sold to $600 although very few were yarded.
