RAY White Rural and Bentley’s kicked off the Ekka in fine style, hosting the annual City Meets Country event on Wednesday night.
The event drew a broad cross section of people from Queensland agriculture and the Brisbane business community to the Breakfast Creek Hotel for an evening of celebration.
Nolan’s Private selection was served as a appetiser to the big crowd.
Queensland Country Life was there to catch all the action from the big night.
The Royal Queensland Show (affectionately known as the Ekka) officially runs from August 10 to 19. Stud cattle are judged tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday.
