CAMBIL Brahmans reigned supreme at the Townsville Show, with the Proserpine stud taking out the top categories.
The successful exhibitors won both the grand champion Brahman bull and female categories, with Cambil Ironjack and Cambil Jewel respectively.
Cambil Jewel was also named overall senior champion, and grand champion of the show.
The reserve senior champion bull was Cambil Domino and female was Beckland Maleficient.
Cambil Ironjack was also named supreme exhibit, while Cambil Brahmans was named top breeders group with Kirkton Brahmans coming second and third place going to Beckland Bazadaise.
The champion female calf was Cambil Sherenne, with the reserve champion named as Beckland Nooke.
The champion bull calf was Kirkton Rock and reserve was Cambil Detriot.
Kirkton Rush was named junior champion female, with Cambil Miss Empress taking out the reserve.
Junior champion bull was Cambil Spartan and the reserve was Kirkton Midnight.
Maggie Read had a successful day, being named as the champion parader after taking out the young paraders over 15 category. She also won the young judges over 15 category.
Runners-up in the young paraders over 15 were Jack Dunwoodie and Maddison Hoph.
There was a good showing in the under 15 young paraders section with Juliet Beckmann coming first, Amelia Beckmann in second and Charlie Hood third.
Billy Hood won the young judges under 15, with Parker Hood in second and Amelia Beckmann third.
In the dams progeny category, Beckland Bazadaise Stud came first with Cambil Brahmans runner-up.
Cambil Brahmans won the sires progeny, with Kirkton Brahmans in second and Beckland Bazadaise in third.
The led steer category went to Cloudbreak Lowline steer.
The Townsville Show cattle competition was held on Saturday, June 30 at the Townsville showgrounds.
