A slightly smaller yarding than the previous week was penned at Gracemere on Friday, with 2592 head on offer. The yarding consisted of 1315 steers, 832 heifers, 217 cows, 32 cows and calves, and 225 bulls. Cattle were drawn from Collinsville, Nebo, Boyne Valley and all local areas. Quality was good overall and the current weather conditions encouraged the usual buyers to extend their limits. Prices improved for all descriptions.
