NINE teams were put to the test in a series of brutal challenges as they competed in the Ringers Challenge at the Richmond Field Days and races this month.
The grueling course included eating a whole lemon, a dry Weet-Bix, a cattle pregnancy test, plank walking, a blind wheel-barrow race and rolling bales of hay, with teams competing in pairs to undertake the tasks.
Cousins Jake and Rylie Brown, of Westbury Station near Prairie reigned supreme on the day, completing the course in an impressive two minutes and forty seconds.
Competing under the team name Mrs Browns Boys, the dynamic duo said they were pleased to take the win.
“We thought we’d join and support the locals here,” Jake said.
