Hundreds of people gathered on the streets of Cloncurry for the Anzac Day parade and service this morning.
Veterans were joined by members of the police, school children, the Country Women’s Association and other community groups.
As each group passed the crowd greeted them with applause and waving flags.
Marking the 103rd anniversary of Anzac Day, the 2018 event attracted a reflective crowd of Cloncurry locals.
Speeches about sacrifice and legacy were given by RSL president Peter Bacon, mayor Greg Campbell and WO2 Rick Leeman.
