A 55,400 hectare (137,000 acre) Central Queensland aggregation is on the market for the first time in 60 years.
Located within two hours travel time north west of Rockhampton, the Livingstone Shire aggregation is being marketed by Ruralco Property/SBB Real Estate.
With an expectation of a market value in the region of $70 million, the aggregation has an estimated carrying capacity of 5000 finishers, 8000 breeders and 2000 replacement females.
Located about two hours by road from Rockhampton the freehold and rolling leasehold country holding has a double frontage to a bitumen road which runs parallel to the Bruce Highway.
Ruralco Property’s Rockhampton selling agent Bill Hamilton said the aggregation comprised of soft breeding and finishing country in a prime location.

“Nothing of this scale or quality has come to the market for many years and the aggregation includes numerous outstanding and appealing features,” Mr Hamilton said.
“Physically this aggregation offers the almost perfect balance of breeding, backgrounding and fattening country.
“This country has the ability to produce grass fed bullocks all year round.”
Mr Hamilton said the brigalow and scrub country totaled about 13,355ha with up to 1620ha of farming country to support the feedlot activities.
Water reliability is a key feature. A frontage to the Mackenzie River offers irrigation potential with the access of available irrigation rights. Stock water is supplied from about 130 dams, numerous bores, and semi-permanent water holes in the creek systems that cross the holding.

The property is offered for sale with plant including bulldozers, machinery, trucks, tractors and trailers.
