LambEx is welcoming two of the event’s longstanding features back to the 2018 conference – Fairfax Agricultural Media and the ‘Win-A-Ewe Competition’.
Fairfax Agricultural Media is back on board as the event’s official print and online media partner.
This announcement coincides with confirmation of the ‘Fairfax Win-A-Ewe Competition’ which will be launched in March along with the conference early bird registration.
This year’s competition will be the largest, with 150 sheep up for grabs.
It includes the giveaway of three prizes each of 50 Merino, short hair and maternal ewes, donated by some of Western Australia’s most successful breeders.
With a new date, a new venue and an international focus, LambEx will return to Perth from August 5 to 7, 2018, for the first time since the inaugural event almost a decade ago.
LambEx 2018 features a compelling program with outstanding speakers and an opportunity to network with all sectors of the lamb value chain.
Fairfax, head of agricultural publishing, John Warlters, said LambEx was a great national event that partnered with industry and individual producers.
“Fairfax is proud of its enduring relationship with LambEx since the event’s inception and aims to tell the story of sustainability and profitability for producers,” Mr Warlters said.
“Fairfax has 60 agricultural journalists and six rural mastheads across the country who are keen to share the stories during this buoyant time in the lamb and wool industry.
“LambEx continues to be a great forum with a program of world class speakers and a showcase of innovation within the industry.”
Conference chair Bindi Murray said the confirmation of Fairfax as the major media partner for LambEx would mean continued support of conference advertising and media reach which was invaluable in spreading news about the event.
“LambEx in Perth in 2018 is going to be huge,” Ms Murray said.
We have an outstanding program in the planning and an exhibition space which will be larger than anything LambEx has experienced before.
“We are really looking forward to showcasing the best of the Australian sheep and lamb industry and encourage everyone to save the date and keep an eye out for updates early in 2018.”
LambEx 2018 recognises and thanks our major event partners: WAMMCO International, WA Government Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, Meat and Livestock Australia, Fairfax Agricultural Media, Fletcher International Exports, Australian Wool Innovation, Virbac Australia, Rabobank and Boehringer Ingelheim.
