Socialites from across the north-west will descend on Cloncurry this weekend for the final racing event of the year.
Saturday November 4, will see Cloncurry and District Race Club host the annual K & R Contracting Derby Day Races.
Gates will open at 11.30am with the Derby Day Races starting its scheduled five race meeting at 1.45pm. It is expected to be perfect racing weather with clear sky and a top of 34 degrees.
The Cloncurry and District Race Club expect this race meeting to draw a large crowd as it is the last race meeting of the year.
It is also one of the final social events in Cloncurry for 2017, providing a great opportunity for the community to come together before the Christmas break.
The Black Toyota Fashions on the Field is back again, with the theme continuing to be black and white.
