There was plenty of glamour off the field on Saturday as the Curry dolled up for the annual Cloncurry Cup race meet.
Eight-year-old gelding Holey Gadoley won the 2017 Brodie Hardware Cloncurry Cup Open for trainer Ray Hermann in a thrilling finish at Schumacher Park.
After 1400 metres and with barely a couple of lengths from the finish, any one of the top three could have taken out the cup, but it was Holey Gadoley storming up the outside, with Lee Attard aboard, to take the honours by a length.
Second was Tamara Tincknell riding Your Way or Mine for trainer David Smith.
A further length behind in third was the Ballard combination with son Danny riding mum Denise’s Travel in Style.
