Steers over 550kg sold to 292c/kg and averaged 277c.
Meanwhile steers in the 400-550kg sold to 265c, averaging 265c.
Grown heifers over 450kg made to a top of 280c, to average 266c/kg. Grown heifers in the 350-450kg range made to a top of 242.2c to average 221c/kg
Stuarts Creek Pastoral Co, Stuarts Creek, Roma, sold Hereford heifers for 280c at 568kg returning to $1592/head.
TL&JV Kehl, Armidale, Wallumbilla, sold Braford heifers for 255c at 524kg returning $1336/head.
The majority of the yarding was cows to slaughter over 500kg making to a top of 237.2c, to average 225c/kg. Meanwhile cows in the 400-500kg class topped at 234c and averaged 222c.
Cows 300-400kg sold to 250c and averaged 223c.
Mundurin Grazing Co, Mundurin, Winton, sold Brahman cows for 237c at 586kg returning $1391/head.
Reynella Grazing Co, Reynella, Charleville, sold Droughtmaster-cross cows for 235c at 551kg returning $1296.
KL Moloney, Wetlands, Augathella, sold Angus-cross cows for 223c at 563kg returning $1257.
WJ & PM Anderson, Juandah Downs, Mungallala, sold Charolais-cross cows for 217c at 672kg returning $1459. D&K Twist, Juandah Downs, Mungallala, sold Charolais-cross cows for 217c at 596kg returning to $1295.
