Reade and Jill Radel from Kandoona Red Brahmans, Yebna, Injune, will take a sale team of 26 bulls including four polls to the Brahman Week Sale.
The Radel’s have been attending the sale since 1967 and Mr Radel said it provides great awareness for the bulls they’re producing at the stud.
“The Rockhampton Brahman Week Sale is our only “show” for the year, it provides a solid benchmark for our stud which allows us to hone in on areas that we can improve upon moving forward.”
He said for the sale they only select bulls with excellent muscle and bone, high growth rates, tidy sheaths, big scrotal measurements and those with a quiet temperament.
He said Lot 585 Kandoona 12436 (AI) (ET) (H) is from a proven cow family that has produced several high selling sons at the Brahman Week sale over the years.
“Lot 591 Kandoona 12443 (AI) (ET) (H) a towering young sire with loads of potential and Lot 592 Kandoona 12478 (AI) (ET) (P) is from our best poll cow line.”
