
THE upcoming 29th Northern Territory Cattlemen’s Association (NTCA) Annual General Meeting, Conference and Gala Dinner being held on March 21-22 at the Alice Springs Covention Centre is one of the premier events in the beef industry.
An intensive program will be delivered aimed at challenging industry to look at the emerging issues facing current and future generations of producers.
Primarily about our NTCA members and the broader industry, the conference will be attended by over 400 people, it includes producers, agribusiness and industry leaders from the Northern Territory, Australian states, and overseas, MPs and senior ministers from the NT and federal government.
The though driving this year’s event is “Driving change, driving our future”, and will focus on the international markets and commodity outlook; emerging consumer trends and patterns; animal health, breeding, production and animal welfare; conservation and emerging environmental services and products; industry empowerment and engagement with urban Australia; and managing risk and variability in a changing world.
The program will commence on Thursday, March 21, with the Ladies Luncheon starting at 12pm, followed by the NTCA members only Annual General Meeting at 3.30pm.
The following day (Friday, March 22) will commence with the industry conference being held at the Convention Centre starting at 7.30am with the Gala Dinner being held at the Alice Springs Turf Club capping off the program beginning at 6.30pm.
