
JULIA Creek’s Beef2U Breeder Management Day was held yesterday at the Julia Creek Racecourse.
Revolutionary systems and techniques were discussed throughout the day. Jake Webster and Sally Blacklock, Balootha Station (pictured) were two of the graziers in attendance.
Bontech’s Steve Winter explained the machination of the Spilla Water Pump, which is a submergible that replaces the need for column and rod windmill-driven pumps.
Dr Sophia Edwards, Bontech’s Steve Sharkey, Dr Ian Braithwaite, Ian Mclean and DAFF’s Emma Hegarty and Rebecca Gunther also spoke during the free information day.
