DUE to the unfortunate weather conditions, the inaugural AG.Trade.Life Powering the Future exhibition at the Mackay Showgrounds slated for April 11-12 has been postponed until May 8-9.
CANEGROWERS Mackay representative said “We understand this is going to cause some inconvenience and we as well of course are going to be adversely impacted by this decision.”
“Hopefully this additional time will allow outdoor and undercover exhibitors the chance to consider the impacts of weather, in the years to come, in the event the weather again impacts on what is hopefully to become a great annual agricultural event,” she said.
“The forecasts until Friday shows us we cannot look forward to better conditions.
“We will be in touch of course as soon as we get the re-scheduling organised.
“We thank you for your appreciation of the decision we have made for the greater good of your exhibition and our visitors.”
