Music Fest caps big 10 days in the Towers

The Overall Grand Prize Winner for the Finals was Tammy Moxon who performed a stirring rendition of Ryan Bingham’s The Weary Kind, for her efforts she took home $3500 in prize money, a 45 minute guest spot at the 2014 Gympie Muster, and invitation to attend the 2015 Norfolk Island Tans-Tasman Entertainer of the Year Award.

THERE were plenty of toes tapping and teeth chattering during a chilly but enjoyable night at the Grand Final Concert for the 37th Charters Towers Country Music Festival held on Sunday at the Charters Showgrounds.
