Cows and calves sell to $925 at Miriam Vale
A yarding of 420 head saw the market ease at the monthly Miriam Vale sale last week.
Buyers came from Duaringa and South Burnett with strong local support.
Amanda Pizzy, Calliope, sold Droughtmaster cross steers for $780. Most older steers sold from $650 to $780, however very few were yarded.
Dean Von Einem, Mt Maria, sold Brahman cross weaner steers for $550, while older types sold from $450 to $550 and younger types sold from $350 to $450.
Ian and Sandra Dahl, Miriam Vale, sold a line of 148 Grey Brahman heifers No 7 PTIC to average $1085.
Most weaner heifers sold from $300 to $450.
