A yarding of 2634 cattle came to hand at Gracemere sale on December 1 comprising of 1010 steers, 1065 heifers, 446 cows, 48 cows and calves and 65 bulls. Cattle came from local areas as well as the Dawson and Callide districts, Collinsville, Bowen and Nebo. The market remained firm for most lines of slaughter cattle while selective lines of light steers remained firm and the heifer portion had a slight decrease.
