THE Australian Brahman Breeders Association has announced a new Association Manager, Anastasia Fanning.
Ms Fanning will commence her position from December 4 and has a wealth of both cattle and business knowledge.
As the fourth generation of a farming and cattle enterprise, Ms Fanning has been involved with developing Santa Gertrudis and Poll Hereford studs, with an on-site Embryo Transfer Centre.
She has showed cattle at local, state and royal levels in both England and Australia and has been a judge at a range of events too.
“The last 15 years my husband and I have run our own Stock and Station Agency in conjunction with a commercial Brahman cross breeding and fattening operation in Central Queensland,” she said.
It comes after ABBA announced in August that the then CEO Robert Biddle had vacated the role.
