A yarding of 2841 head was presented at Gracemere on September 15 comprising of 1110 steers, 929 heifers, 238 cows, 122 cows and calves and 32 bulls.
Most cattle came from local areas but there were also lines from as far as Bowen, Nebo and Mackay.
There were some good lines throughout the sale however it was a mixed offering in both quality and finish in some sections. Prices eased slightly on last week’s rates for most categories today as cattle are starting to show the effects of the deteriorating season.
