CHRIS and Carolyn Hood’s top quality Darling Downs farming property Oakdale is on the market, to be auctioned by Ray White Rural in Dalby on September 20.

Covering 386 hectares (954 acres) of predominately level self-mulching black to grey soils, the farm near Dalby is ideally suited to both grain and cotton production.

Oakdale is be offered ready for summer production on the farm’s 364ha of cultivation. At present about 80ha can be irrigated with a total of 243ha laser leveled for future development.
