PETA Adams has moved on from the Mitchell district and decide to sell her auction has property Gruidae in Roma on July 27.
Located 12km west of Mitchell on the Warrego Highway, the 395 hectare (976 acre) property has both buffel and natural grass pastures.
Gruidae consists of undulating red loam to self-mulching heavy black soil country timbered with bottle tree, kurrajong, brigalow, wilga and areas of box and sandalwood regrowth. There are scattered trees across the property, which is about 95 per cent white on the vegetation map.
The property is fenced into seven paddocks and watered by three dams and a share bore. A timber set of cattle yards service the property and are of a suitable size for the number of head run on the property.
The seven bedroom homestead is of very solid construction with loads of original character including pressed tin ceilings in most rooms.
Marketing agent Rob Wildermuth, Ray White Rural, said Gruidae was capable of producing cattle in great condition.
“This is a quality bit of country close to Mitchell which needs to be inspected to be believed, as with further development carrying capacity can be increased,” Mr Wildermuth said.
