Rob Allen’s name property was passed in following a bid from the floor of $2.575m at an auction on Thursday.
The listed price is equal to about $1417/ha ($573/acre).
Located 30km Stanthorpe, the 2188 hectare (5407 acre) is in five freehold titles.
The adjoining 1235ha (3052 acre) freehold block East Pikedale is also on the market at $1.2m ($972/ha-$393/acre).
Pikedale is described as having New England soil types, picturesque hills, and Traprock country. Grasses include Queensland blue, native pastures and herbages in season. Timbers include red gum, apple gum, broad and narrow ironbark.
