Santa Gertrudis breeders David and Jean Bridgeman hosted a cattleman information day at their Cardwell property, Morbridge, at the weekend.

Visitors were treated to sessions on various issues including toxic plants, how overseas markets are impacting Australia, assistance available to young farmers, bull and heifer selection and reproductive technologies.
They also inspected current farm trials for the control of navua sedge and another trial using Seasol products.
