About 150 people attended the 18th annual Ponderosa bull sale in Katherine on Friday.
Along with three other vendors, Olive, Viva and Raglan, several hundred Brahman bulls found new homes right across the north of Australia.
As in past years, there was 100 per cent clearance rate for these fast growing bulls, average weight gains of more than two kilograms per day.
Early sale prices ranged from $3000 to more than $6000 for the Ponderosa bulls.
One of the lots, number 133, a prized Ponderosa bull, had been donated by the Herod family to help raise money for the Douglas-Daly community association equine facility.
