Young, enthusiastic people involved in Australia’s beef industry are being encouraged to apply for the Graeme Acton Beef Connections program with applications now open.
Beef Australia is inviting those young individuals who are interested in becoming part of the Beef Connections program to have their application entered by April 18.

Charlie Wilson, Karamarra, Dingo is a mentor for Beef Australia’s Beef Connections program and believes it’s an opportunity not to be missed by young people in our beef industry.
“I have a real interest in helping young people in agriculture and I’m very excited to be asked as a mentor in the prestigious program,” Mr Wilson said.
“It’s a great opportunity to help younger people achieve their goals in our beef industry.”
Mr Wilson said the idea of the Beef Connections program is to support and mentor the future leaders in Australia’s beef industry.
“I believe this program will help young people focus their ambitions in the beef industry and develop a good long term plan, which will help them reach their beef industry goals,” he said.
“This program will help develop the skills of young beef producers by providing training and personal development opportunities and a mentor like myself to help them achieve their ambitions and also participate in next year’s Beef Australia 2018.”
