Wool starved China mills drives record prices

Roly Hope, Coleraine, Vic, sold 120 bales of predominantly 18.5m which yielded 75pc. They sold for an av for an av 1434c/kg. 
Mr Hope said he was cautious of the sharp increase in the market. 
"It needs to be a steady rise," he said. 
"Things that go up quickly can go down just as quick. We don’t want the guys further down the chain going broke.”
