Steers over 550kg sold to 285c and averaged 278c, while steers in the 400-550kg sold to 240c and averaged 240c. AR Roberts, Tantatton, Wallumbilla, sold Charolais-cross steers to 285c for 674kg to return $1923/head.
J York, Taunton, Roma, sold Santa-cross steers to 285c for 661kg to return $1886. Arbroath Grazing Co, Arbroath, Roma, sold Hereford-cross steers to 284c for 686kg to return $1951.
Heifers over 450kg made 265c and averaged 252c, while heifers in the 350-450kg sold to 271c, averaging 258c. BR&TG Gadsby, Moorooka, Morven, sold Droughtmaster-cross heifers to 245c for 552kg to return $1353. The Droughtmaster-cross cows sold to 226c for 542kg to return $1227.
Cows over 500kg hit 243c and averaged 230c, while cows 400-500kg topped 240c and averaged 221c. Cows 300-400kg sold to 256c and averaged 209c.
Dalmally Grazing Co, Dalmally, Roma, sold Charolais-cross cows to 243c for 653kg to return $1588. Bass Cattle Co, Muldoon, Mungallala, sold Santa-cross cows to 240c for 551kg to return $1325.
