The maker of the drone based Agribotix data analytics platform that helps croppers increase yields and reduce costs, said it was growing its client list on the back of worldwide John Deere dealers with Victorian and South Australian dealer, Emmetts, leading the local charge.
The company’s FarmLens SaaS platform has enjoyed significant growth since being able to integrate with the John Deere Operations Centre.
Emmetts has promoted Agribotix for a number of years and the company’s precision agriculture solutions manager, Matt Burns said they appreciated the increased customer interaction and value FarmLens delivered.
"We selected Agribotix solutions as a way to increase the value we provide to our growers," Mr Burns said.
"By offering drones and field-specific analytic reports that integrate with the customers' John Deere Operations Center account, we're able to deliver insights to customers' production practices to assist with data-enabled decision making.
“The grower benefits from making well informed decisions, and Emmetts’ benefits from a stronger relationship with growers" he said.
Emmetts offers CropFlight or CropSense services with the latter building on CropFlight data by combining historical paddock data with the latest drone imagery.
The result delivers an insight into individual paddock performance helping croppers make management decisions on nutrient application and spraying.
Jason Barton from Agribotix said the goal is to make the Agribotix solution painless for John Deere dealer customers to adopt.
"We have integrated FarmLens with the Deere Operations Center farm management software system."
The integration allows a user to push the Agribotix digital scouting report directly into their Operations Center account.
