The international outlook for Australian red meat will be a focus of the upcoming 2016 Red Meat Industry Forum, being held with Meat & Livestock Australia’s Annual General Meeting in the Adelaide Hills on November 10.
Among the key speakers at the forum will be MLA’s general manager International Markets, Michael Finucan, who will provide key insights about current international market trends and how Australian red meat is positioned in the global marketplace.
Based in Beijing, Mr Finucan oversees MLA’s international global marketing activities and international offices. With Australia exporting red meat and livestock to more than 100 countries, representing over 70 per cent of the industry's production, it is critical to protect and expand our industry’s access to overseas markets.
