Tintern Grammar stud stock students brought a flock of seven sheep to the Australian Sheep and Wool Show at Bendigo.
Their reward was hearing the judge, Braydon Gilmore, describe them as the best examples of the breed.
The school began their East Friesian stud 10 years ago.
“I’m very happy with the quality of what’s on show here. They have presented animals with very good wool and body type,” Mr Gilmore said.
The ewe presented with Grand Champion status, as with the ram, were both weaners. The pair, with another ewe, received the Grand Champion, Group of Three Under-1.5-years-old.
The same ram was Champion Ram at the Berwick Show in February this year.
