ALTHOUGH a warm day, a crowd of 300 strong gathered for the annual Cloncurry Cup at Schumacher Park on October 11 to enjoy a day for family, friends, fashion and fun.
New shade and mister fan facilities were appreciated by the patrons as the day progressed but nothing could lower the spirits of the crowd.
The Tim Koitka Memorial Cloncurry Cup feature race was won by Bianco Rosso, ridden by Tash Chambers and trained by Damien Finter.
There continued to be plenty of spring racing carnival colour in the fashions on the field as shown in the below photos with Contemporary ladies winner, Nicole Laffey and Classic ladies winner Tina Bakhash taking out the titles.

To experience a great country race meet Cloncurrys last meet for the year is the much anticipated Black and White Derby Day which will be held on November 1.
