CAIRNS entertainers Tony George Entertainment presented their “Nearly Diamond” show at this year’s Outback Moon Festival held at Lake Fred Tritton on Saturday. Locals are raving that it was the best entertainment that has hit the Lake Fred Tritton shores.
Tony George Entertainment was supported by Mt Isa’s big band Bandana and Richmond’s very own local musicians. The audience included new and returning Outback Moon Festival goers from Townsville, Ayr, South East Queensland, Melbourne, Mount Isa and surrounding districts.
The Outback Moon Festival raises money and resources for the local musical community in Richmond. The showcase of local talent who perform on the night is a credit to the culture and education that has been created by festival for the community. Each year, the performers just keep getting better and better.
The committee also announced the next three festival music scholarships for 2015 students starting at boarding school. The students are Amber Aspinall, Kimberley Brown and Anastacia Chappell.
The Outback Moon Festival committee would like to thank sponsors Coutts Redington, Rabobank, Landmark, Northern Rural Group, Emanate Legal, Cat Rental Power and uSee Remote Monitoring for their incredible support.
