One of 17 bulls at the Lancefield Brahmans Invitation Sale to cross the $10,000 mark was Lot 8 Palmal Excalabur 5903 who was purchased for $18,000 by A & J Davison, Viva Brahmans Stud.
SELLING came to a close earlier this afternoon at the Lancefield Brahmans Invitation Sale with some impressive results emerging from the Gracemere selling ring.
A total of 120 Brahman Select Sires were catalogued for the sale with 111 lots selling for a clearance rate of 92 per cent.
The top price of the sale was reached when Lot 21 2AM Trinity 4280M was purchased by Elrose Brahman Stud for $38,000.
A total of 17 other bulls sold for at least $10,000 or more with the sale reaching a gross of $722,500 for a sterling average of $6509/head.
