THE last of the sale bulls has exited the ring at the 2014 NCC Annual Brahman Sale held at “Inverrio” Duaringa which has proven to be be a great success.
In total 88 bulls sold for a gross of $812,000 to average $9227/head at a clearance rate of 92 per cent.
Prices peaked when a truly outstanding Red in Lot 43 NCC Bohemian (IVF) (D) sold for $75,000 to Gavin Scott, Rosetta Station.
A total of 39 Red's sold for a gross of $362,500 to average $9295.
A stunning Grey in Lot 20 NCC Jaguar (IVF) (D) sold for $67,500 to Lawson Camm, Cambil Brahmans.
In summary 49 Grey's sold for a gross of $449,500 to average $9173.
The sale was littered with highlights including: Lot 73 NCC Justice (IVF) (D) sold for $45,000 to John Kirk and family, Carinya Brahmans; Lot 28 NCC Swire (IVF) (D) who sold for $35,000 to Andrew and Anna McCamley, 2AM Brahmans; Lot 23 NCC El Toro (IVF) (D) sold for $30,000 to Brian Hughes, Lanes Creek Brahman; Lot 10 NCC Buchanan sold for $24,000 in partnership with Rodger Jefferis from Elrose Brahmans and Charlie McKinlay, Chasmac Park Brahman Stud; Lot 15 NCC Judah (IVF) (D) sold for $20,000 to A and J Davison, Viva Brahmans Stud; Lot 17 NCC Badger (D) sold for $17,000 to Rob White, Wilangi Brahman Stud; Lot 35 NCC Colorado (IVF) (D) sold for $27,000 to Brian Hughes, Lanes Creek Brahman.
