Coopers Regional Manager NT/WA Shaun Coutts said the alliance was not to benefit either party financially, but to streamline their client’s schedules.
“This is the first time we have teamed up and we hope to have a few more similar events,” Mr Coutts said.
Head of Rabobank’s Food and Agri Research, Luke Chandler provided a short presentation on the future of Australian agriculture.
Mr Chandler said while Australia’s export customers present opportunities, they will also become the nation’s primary producers’ fiercest competitors over time.
“As more and more competitors engage in FTA negotiations, the timing around Australia and New Zealand’s own negotiations is becoming increasingly critical,” he said.
An excellent selection of food and company kept guests entertained and primed for further networking opportunities later that night.
