RABOBANK’S Burdekin branch based in Ayr celebrated 15 years playing host to over 150 guests at Home Hill recently.
To add to the celebrations the local branch hosted a charity auction for the local CORES group.
CORES is a community based program which educates members of local communities on how to intervene when they encounter a person they believe may be suicidal.
Thanks to the generous support of local business, the North Queensland Cowboys Rugby League team and the Rabobank Rebels Rugby Union club for donations the evening raised over $4000.
Rabobank, Ayr, branch manager Sue Malaponte said it was more than the branch had hoped for.
“It exceeded our expectations and we are so grateful for everyone’s generosity.”
