Elders Stud Stock Sales Manager, Michael Smith believes many of the local beef producers will have the confidence to upgrade their bull selection at the sale.
Being the sale coordinator, Michael Smith he has been travelling around Queensland inspecting many of the bulls during the past few weeks and is very satisfied with the quality of the bulls that will go under the hammer.
“Vendors have put in that extra effort this year and it reflects in the quality of the stock to be presented. This year’s catalogue will stand up to any previous years offerings, Mr Smith said.
“I can recommend this catalogue of bulls to any grazier who is in the market – just come along and you will see that I’m right. The focal point of this sale is the fact that we have a large number of repeat vendors who having been a part of this sale for many years and we have a catalogue of bulls that are adapted to Northern and Western Queensland conditions and a tried and proven over many years,” he said.
“I’m extremely pleased that there is a excellent representation of numbers for most breeds which gives buyers a wider choice of bulls to select from.
“This is one of the most established sales in western Queensland and it was initially set up to deliver quality bulls to the doorstep of producers.
“It continues to serve that purpose – saving buyers the time and hassle and expense of travelling long distances to attend sales further afield.
