SUBMISSIONS to the Senate Inquiry into the grass-fed cattle levies must be made a priority if producers wish to see a change in their industry.
As the March 1 submission closure date fast approaches and the submission count remains low, The North Queensland Register urges our readers to make time in the next couple of days to make a submission.
“You won’t get the opportunity again to be able to express your opinions on your livelihood,” Regional Manager Northern Australia Jim Pola said.
“It is crunch time,” he said.
To make a submission, it is as easy as saying whether or not you are happy with the industry, and in what aspects you believe it should change. Producers are not expected to create solutions, but rather put forth their disappointments with the industry.
